Camping has always been that special way of getting back to basics and appreciating the wide world around us. I feel like this is even more important after the events of recent years.
I come from an extended family of people who love to camp! Someone is almost always pitching a tent somewhere or taking their camper trailer for a night by the beach.
My parents live in a converted school bus full time after having never been campers earlier in life. Now they can’t imagine life any other way.
My niece and her husband are on their extended Big Lap of Australia in a pop-up camper and 4WD, slow travelling their way around the country.
While we’re no strangers to overseas travel, there’s something incredibly special about exploring our own backyard. Some of our favourite travel memories are closer to home road tripping in a campervan and staying in holiday parks.
Nothing really compares to that feeling of being surrounded by nature, cooking outdoors and playing games around the campfire.
This passion for camping has grown over the years, and now I want to share that passion with you.
Through The Camping Planner, I aim to inspire you to embark on your own camping adventures, offering tips, guides, and checklists to ensure you have the best experience possible. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a beginner, I’m here to help you navigate the great outdoors.
So, grab your tent and your sense of adventure, and let’s explore the wonders of camping together!
